 SKATE/ BMX COMP The next competition in the 2007/ 08 Skate and BMX Series will be held on March 8th (Crab Fest Weekend) on the Western Foreshore. For information and registration forms contact info@mycrew.com.au 2007 Summer Expression Sessions The 2007 Summer Expression Sessions were a huge hit for the youth of Mandurah, with over 400 people taking part in the weekend events. Major events included comp one of Summer Skate Series, BMX, African drumming, Splash and Dash and Kayaking. As a finale to the weekend activities, there was a concert held at Hall Park, with 3 popular local bands. The Expression Session Series aims to engage young people within the community; giving them the opportunity to take part in activities offered by their community, in a safe environment. All events are offered free of charge. Sponsors for the events are the City of Mandurah, Department of Sport and Recreation and Healthway- Be Active. Planning for the 2008 Youth Week Expression Sessions is underway, with new activities and events being planned over Youth Week. Possible activities include Kite Surfing, Sailing, drama workshops, mountain biking and more!
